WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
THE EXPERIENCE I BRING
I have over 20 years’ experience working with innovative businesses and forward-looking management teams. I qualified as a corporate lawyer at city firm, Herbert Smith Freehills and then moved inhouse to Sky where I developed broad legal skills across a range of B2B and B2C businesses. This included general advisory work on some of Sky’s most innovative product launches across a full range of legal disciplines: consumer, advertising, privacy, product development, sales & procurement, IP rights distribution and regulatory compliance.
In 2017 I joined AI contract acceleration pioneer ThoughtRiver to pursue my interest in legal operational efficiency and the developing world of LegalTech. I supported this founder-led VC backed business on their Board as Chief Legal Officer & VP Customer. I continue to have an interest in helping management teams work in a way to help close deals faster and maximize revenue.
WHEN I'M NOT WORKING
I’m passionate about building confidence in girls through rugby. I’m a qualified RFU coach and coach girls in local schools alongside my advisory board role of the Girls Rugby Club. I also enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 daughters messing about on the river.
