Working with SMEs has brought a completely new dimension to being a lawyer. No two days are the same, I love the variety and the buzz of activity. My clients are an amazing bunch. I really enjoy being on the journey with them, learning about their businesses, being able to give them access to the type of legal support usually only available to large companies and helping them find solutions to their commercial and legal problems

I’ve been a corporate-commercial lawyer for over 25 years, with my first 13 years at leading City law firm Simmons & Simmons. My desire to be closer to business led me to move inhouse – at first to Electronic Data Systems (now HP) and then 7 years at Colt Telecom where as VP of Commercial Legal Affairs, I ran a team of 26 international lawyers, worked on Colt’s most high value/strategic deals and simplified the team’s delivery of internal legal services. I’m bilingual (French/English) and a Company Secretary with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA). My approach is all about being responsive, practical and creating strong relationships
WHEN I'M NOT WORKING
I live in West Hampstead, London. I have two grown-up kids and a much-loved 7 year old mischievous Labrador called Toby. I love taking long country walks with my husband and am all about having a positive mindset
