WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
THE EXPERIENCE I BRING
I started out doing procurement and logistics for a small oil and gas exploration company, working in some very interesting locations. After returning to the UK and qualifying as a solicitor I practiced in the City at Dentons and HFW doing a mixture of corporate and commercial work. I then moved inhouse to Schlumberger (now SLB) where I held several General Counsel positions. I supported the legal needs of a range of businesses, from professional consultancy services and complex wells and facilities construction to software and exploration data. My extensive experience advising across a wide range of commercial arrangements includes industry procurement and construction contracts, software licensing, SaaS contracts and technology cooperation arrangements. I have also led the legal support for a number of acquisitions, divestments and re-organisations as well as joint ventures in various jurisdictions
WHEN I'M NOT WORKING
I love motorcycles. I buy, restore and ride them. Occasionally I sell one too. I even used to race them, but that was when I was younger and falling off hurt less
I also enjoy travel, spending time with my family, long walks with our mischievous dog and skiing
