WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
THE EXPERIENCE I BRING
I am an experienced lawyer with 18+ years of private practice and inhouse experience. I have an in-depth knowledge of corporate and company law and expertise in intra-group transactions, commercial contracts, employment law, property law, data protection and IP.
I started my career in private practice at Shoosmiths where I had a varied corporate advisory role undertaking M&A, management buy-outs, private equity investments and Companies Act activity. During that time, I acted for individuals, companies of all sizes, private equity houses and financial institutions. I then spent 9 years as an inhouse lawyer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) where I had a particular focus on UK, international and cross-border intra-group corporate transactions including large group restructures, integrations, corporate separations, M&A and corporate governance. After HPE, I worked at a regulated housing association (and registered charity) where I gained invaluable inhouse experience in an SME environment.
One of my key strengths is my ability to build relationships across all levels of a business.
WHEN I'M NOT WORKING
I love to run! I enjoy running on the trails in the beautiful Berkshire countryside. I’m an active member of my local running club and weekends are often filled with running events that always end with a cuppa and a slice of cake. If I am not running, then I am usually out being active with my husband and two daughters.’
