I enjoy working closely with a business to help bring its ideas and plans to fruition. A legal function often has the benefit of working across a business with a wide range of stakeholders and it is that diversity of people and scope that I really thrive on.

WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
THE EXPERIENCE I BRING
I am a pragmatic, solutions oriented commercial lawyer with an intellectual property specialist skill set. I have a track record of advising and influencing across all levels within a business, both for legal as well as commercial elements.
After a brief stint as head of legal at Laura Ashley, I spent the early part of my career specialising in IP, first in private practice in the City at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, and later in-house where I then moved back to being a generalist, with a broad ranging practice including corporate/commercial, data protection and compliance, as well as IP.
I’ve been very lucky to have worked with IP-rich businesses where my expertise has been especially handy – these include Laura Ashley, Royal Mail, Natura &Co (The Body Shop, Aesop and Avon) and, most recently, at a digital fitness tech start-up named Fiit.
WHEN I'M NOT WORKING
I have twin teenagers and spend my free time trying to stay up-to-date with popular culture so that I can keep up with them! When I’m not doing that, I like to spend my time with good friends and good food.
