Russell Alexander

I have more than 20 years’ experience as General Counsel to international businesses, ranging from major logistics groups to innovative technology companies providing software and related solutions across multiple industries. I’ve worked with listed, privately held and private equity-backed organisations, each with its own dynamics and demands.

My roles have been broad and hands-on, spanning multiple jurisdictions and extending beyond core legal work into risk, compliance, governance, procurement and real estate. As a director of numerous group companies worldwide, I have advised boards, remuneration committees and audit committees, helping leadership teams navigate complexity and risk.

Before moving inhouse, I trained and practised in corporate law with Clyde & Co., where I spent nearly a decade advising on domestic and cross-border transactions.
