About this section

Disputes is one of 9 core areas where we can make a positive difference to your business. In this section you’ll find some insight and tips from our top inhouse lawyers. Few people like confrontation and no one likes a dispute but they can happen from time to time. At these times, it helps to have someone who knows how to nip it in the bud and prevent an escalation. This is often about getting the right help at the right time.

There are broadly three types of dispute resolution: (i) Litigation through the courts; (ii) Arbitration which is binding; and (iii) Mediation which is voluntary. Each involves different considerations and costs. But in all three cases, it can help to have a lawyer at your side doing the ‘tough talking’ and shield you a bit. It usually means you can pick up the relationship after the dispute is settled without too much awkwardness.

We have some brilliant expertise on the team to help with all of this with ideas that may not have crossed your mind. Hope you enjoy the articles but if you’d rather talk than read, give us a call on 0207 939 3959
